Autumn 2026 is a time of change,
The winds are singing among the city walls.
The foliage swirls in a slow waltz,
Drawing patterns on wet asphalt.
Fog covers avenues and squares,
Hiding the traces of summer, bright premieres.
Cold light flickers in the shop windows,
It's like the city is preparing an answer for itself.
When asked what the silence whispers to him,
When night falls at home until morning.
The rains drum on the roofs and umbrellas,
They tell tales to the empty courtyards.
The puddles, like mirrors, catch the sky within themselves,
Reflecting the grayness in the trembling wave.
And somewhere in the pocket — a warm scarf,
A memory of summer, hidden in the scarf.
In the parks, the golden carpet rustles,
The wind holds a quiet conversation with the leaves.
The maples and oaks are trying on their attire,
Crimson, amber — like a festive mood.
The birds are gathering for a long journey,
To bring spring back somewhere.
The city doesn’t sleep; it wraps itself in fog,
Catching the last warm days like a deception.
The cafes light cozy fires,
Promising: “You won’t be alone.”
A cup of hot tea, the scent of cinnamon —
A small island amidst the autumn border.
Time slows its pace for a moment.
